The Giffre River is located in the Haute-Savoie Region and more precisely in the Samoëns Valley. It takes its sources in the  Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval (classified “national park” as a natural reserve). The Giffre River flows in the very heart of an exceptional Valley that is surrounded by an incredible ancient geology.
